Kathryn and Michael got married in st Mary's church Stoke Bishop Bristol and went on to The Clifton Club Bristol. As you can see we did not let the weather stop us getting the all so important everyone shot. As a wedding photographer it's important to think on your feet, for this shot i placed the camera on a six foot pole which was held above my head. Wedding Photographer Bristol

Che` & Lotty got married at Ashton court Bristol. A military wedding is always an honour to photograph and this one, is no different. The boys, all medics, looked fantastic in their uniforms, only out shone by Lotty the bride and the gorgeous bridesmaids. Have a look at the last photograph and try and spot the brides flowers as they fly through the air.

Paul and Helen got married on what has to be one of the coldest days of the year. With a strong wind it made things difficult, but did we let that stop us, not a chance. The sun was out and we had a ball. Their service was held in St Martins church south of Bristol in Weston-Super-Mare with the reception at Cadbury house. As a wedding photographer working quickly is very important especially on days like this. Great wedding even it was on the chilly side.

Wedding Photographer Bristol : wedding venue

As a continuing part of my guide to wedding venues in and around Bristol this week i am showing you some images from Eastwood Park which is situated just north of Bristol. For a wedding photographer, this is one of those rare venues where it does not matter what the weather, you can always get great shots. Three of the four sides to the building have great locations for wedding photography. If you are having your service there or just the reception you will not be disappointed.

Wedding Photographer Bristol : Ann & Phil

You may think that a 4pm wedding in January, in the rain, at a golf club would not make for good photo's. Well as you can see, both Ann and Phil had a great time and are very happy with some wonderful images. Being a professional photographer is all about being able to capture those special moments no matter what the conditions. Being a wedding photographer in Bristol is some what different to being one in sunny Spain but as you can see it's just as rewarding. I say to all my brides i have never, ever known the weather to spoil a wedding. The day is just to special for that to happen.

Wedding Photographer Bristol : Wedding Venues

Tortworth Court is another wonderful place to hold your wedding. Just north of Bristol it has to be up there with the best as far as wedding venues goes. They have a number of different rooms you can use as well as an orangey and in the summer a marquee. As a wedding photographer it ticks all the right boxes with superb gardens full of colour as well as plenty of scope inside in case it rains.

Wedding Photographer Bristol : Claire and Craig

The Wedding of Craig and Claire was held just outside of Bristol at the Hinton Grange Hotel on the 22nd December. They were very lucky with the weather which made being the wedding photographer a lot easier. I have photographed a few wedding receptions at the Hinton Grange but this was the first time photographing the wedding ceremony. I had to sit on the floor to get the shots of the service as the ceiling is very low and both Craig and i are quite tall. As you can see from this first photograph, despite it being very dark i was able to get some lovely shots of the service.

Wedding Photographer Bristol : Wedding Venues

I thought it would be a good idea to have a guide to some of the great wedding venues in and around Bristol. As a wedding photographer i look for settings that are great in all kinds of weather, 12 months of the year. My first wedding venue fits the bill in every way. Orchardleigh is a romantic Somerset Estate south of Bristol, with a magnificent Victorian Stately Home, an Island Church, 18-hole Golf Course and plenty of accommodation. This is a wedding photographers dream venue, every time I go back I find new and exciting places to take photographs. Below are are samples of my photography from two weddings held at Orchardleigh.

Hampton Court Palace

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to photograph an awards dinner at Hampton Court Palace. As a venue it was both wonderful and challenging at the same time. With lots of rules and regulations on how you can and cannot work. They are there to rightfully protect one of our great palaces. With Ruby Wax as the host a fun night was had by all.

Wedding Photography

Another wedding away from Bristol, this time Peterstone Court near Brecon. This time is was the turn of Bridget and Richard to tie the knot.
